NED Assembly September 20Asamblea de NED el 20 de septiembre

On September 20th Johnson School students participated in their second assembly of the 2023-2024 school year. “The NED Show” is a character education program that teaches the power of growth mindset. The presenter uses yoyo tricks and a fictitious character named NED to engage and entertain the students. NED’s name is an acronym for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. As an extension of the show, the presenter taught the audience some yoyo tricks and rules to follow. Yoyo’s are for sale and the proceeds of the sales pay for the next school to have the assembly, just as another school’s sales paid for our assembly today.

We are, once again, SO proud of how respectful and engaged our Jaguars were during this event. They really proved what an amazing community we have here!

El 20 de septiembre los estudiantes de Johnson School participaron en su segunda asamblea del año escolar 2023-2024. “The Ned Show” es un programa de educación del carácter que enseña el poder de la mentalidad de crecimiento. El presentador utiliza trucos de yoyo y un personaje físico llamado NED para involucrar y entretener a los estudiantes. El nombre de NED es un acrónimo de Never give up (Nunca te rindas), Encourage others (Anima a los demás) y Do your best (Da lo mejor de ti). Como extensión del espectáculo, el presentador enseñó al público algunos trucos con yoyo y las reglas que hay que seguir. Los yoyos están a la venta y con lo recaudado se paga la asamblea de la siguiente escuela, igual que las ventas de otra escuela han pagado nuestra asamblea de hoy.

Una vez más, estamos TAN orgullosos de lo respetuosos y comprometidos que estuvieron nuestros Jaguars durante este evento. Realmente demostraron la increíble comunidad que tenemos aquí.
