Welcome to C.I. Johnson Elementary School!

C.I. Johnson Elementary School is located in Aurora, IL a far western suburban area of Chicago. We are one of 22 schools in East Aurora School District 131 with approximately 360 students. We proudly serve students in grades 3rd through 5th. Our school is named after Clifford I. Johnson, who was a pharmacist and former school board member.Johnson Primary Lrg

Academic Offerings

C.I. Johnson teaches students from third through fifth grade. There are a variety of classrooms including general education, ESL , Dual language, and Magnet which also has instruction in Project Lead the Way. Johnson is also very proud to offer our students a STEAM Lab, with allows our students to engage in creative thinking, math, engineering, science, and technology tasks. We also offer various rooms used for interventions and working with students in smaller groups or individually. Students have the opportunity to visit the computer lab and library weekly, as well as participate in physical education, music, art, and foreign language in elementary school (FLES).

La escuela primaria C.I. Johnson está situada en Aurora, IL, una zona suburbana del oeste de Chicago. Somos una de las 22 escuelas del East Aurora School District 131 con, aproximadamente, 360 estudiantes. Estamos orgullosos de servir a los estudiantes en los grados 3º a 5º. Nuestra escuela lleva el nombre de Clifford I. Johnson, que era un farmacéutico y antiguo miembro del consejo escolar.

Ofertas académicas

C.I. Johnson enseña a los estudiantes desde el tercero hasta el quinto grado. Hay una variedad de salones que incluyen educación general, ESL, lenguaje dual y Magnet, que también tiene instrucción en el Proyecto Lead the Way. Johnson también se enorgullece de ofrecer a nuestros estudiantes un laboratorio STEAM, que les permite participar en tareas de pensamiento creativo, matemáticas, ingeniería, ciencia y tecnología.  También, ofrecemos varios salones utilizadas para intervenciones y para trabajar con los estudiantes en grupos más pequeños o individualmente. Los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de visitar el laboratorio de computación y la biblioteca semanalmente, así como participar en la educación física, la música, el arte y lengua extranjera en las escuelas primarias (FLES).
