Johnson’s 2nd Annual STEAM Night Was a Success!¡La 2ª Noche STEAM anual de Johnson fue un éxito!

On April 20th Johnson Elementary School held their 2nd ever STEAM night. The event consisted of STEAM stations facilitated by teachers, as well as a science fair in which students presented their projects for judging. The inclement weather did not stop families from showing up to participate in the fun. The staff at Johnson is very proud of how well the event went and even prouder of the students and their amazing work. Science fair projects were judged in two categories: science experiments and STEAM demonstrations. The winners were:
Science Experiments:
1st: Emily Lovercheck
2nd: Isabel Ruiz
3rd: Vivika Garcia
STEAM Demonstrations:
1st: Nicholas Sookoo
2nd: Calvin Peterson
3rd: Arturo Madrid Nope

El 20 de abril Johnson Elementary School celebró su segunda noche STEAM.  El evento consistió en estaciones STEAM facilitadas por maestros, así como una feria de ciencias en la que los estudiantes presentaron sus proyectos para ser juzgados.  Las inclemencias climáticas no impidieron que las familias acudieran a participar en la diversión.  El personal de Johnson está muy orgulloso de lo bien que fue el evento y aún más orgulloso de los estudiantes y su increíble trabajo.  Los proyectos de la feria de ciencias se juzgaron en dos categorías: experimentos científicos y demostraciones STEAM.  Los ganadores fueron:
