On October 22, author Alane Adams visited Johnson Elementary. Ms. Adams is the author of a series of “Thief” books about a young boy named Georgie who lived in Pennsylvania during the 1920’s. Ms. Adams hopes these stories of mischief and historical fiction will inspire children to read. She spoke first to students in Kindergarten to 2nd grade.
Afterwards she presented to our 3rd through 5th grade students about her “Legends of Orkney” series and “Witches of Orkney” series, both inspired by Norse mythology. Sam, the main character, must help the magical realm of Orkney. What a fun morning for the Johnson Jaguars! Thank you Alane Adams, for sharing your passion and knowledge with our students!
